About Us
Dr. Landrio hails from a suburb of Schenectady, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Union College in Schenectady. He then attended Tufts Medical School in Boston and went on to complete his Neurology residency at Tufts under the direction of Dr. Louis Caplan and Dr. Allan Ropper who are well renowned in the field of Neurology. Dr. Landrio then pursued a fellowship in Neurophysiology at Harvard's Beth Israel Medical Center. He then joined a local Neurology/Neurosurgery practice and covered the Winchester Medical Center for 8 years. Dr. Landrio passed the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification exam in May of 2002. Yearning to advance his Neurology practice on his terms, spending time with patients, having time to listen and treat them as he would hope to be treated, in 2006 he struck out, against great odds, to establish Neurologic Associates PLC. This practice has grown from 3 dedicated employees and Dr. Landrio to a team of 15 dedicated professionals who do their utmost to treat our patients with respect and dignity, listen intently, arrive at the right diagnosis and embark on an appropriate treatment plan. Dr. Landio passed the American Board of Sleep Medicine certification exam in October 2013. Since 2015 he has been certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine.p>
Melissa Ochoa is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She received her Associates degree in Nursing at Western Oklahoma State College, her Bachelors degree in Nursing at Mountain State University and her Masters degree in Nursing at Shenandoah University. She has 16 years of nursing experience and 10 years of Neurology experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about comprehensive care for neurological patients and their family’s, as well as promoting wellness and disease prevention. Mrs. Ochoa serves as a preceptor for the Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program at Shenandoah University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Melissa recently became the only certified MS Nurse Practitioner in the Shenandoah Valley.
Racheal Valcour, NP is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and licensed by the state of Virginia to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. She has over 10 years experience as a Neurology/Neurological Nurse Practitioner. Her scope of practice encompasses disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of common and complex neurological conditions throughout the lifespan. She received her undergraduate degree as a registered nurse in 2007 from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia then her graduate education at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in 2013. She has worked in both neurosurgery and neurology as a nurse practitioner since 2014.
She has over 13 years experience in various areas of patient care including neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and telemetry nursing with a special interest in health promotion and disease prevention. Ms. Valcour is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Kimberley Chitko is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).She received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 1997 at The University of Mississippi Medical Center and her Masters Degree from the University of Maryland in 2003. She has over 26 years of experience in Nursing with over 19 years as a Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in various area s of patient care including Neurology, Family Practice, Weight Management and Women's Health.
She is passionate about promoting wellness and disease prevention while providing personalized care to her patients. Mrs. Chitko is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also loves spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling when she is not at work.
Amber Campbell Amber is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Marshall University, her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Shenandoah University, her Master’s degree in Nursing at Shenandoah University, and is currently working on completing her Doctorate degree in Nursing at Marshall University. Amber collaborates with others and prioritizes the patient’s needs. She is dedicated to providing empathetic and up to date care for neurological patients.
Felicia Huff is a Certified Medical Electroneurodiagnostic Technician. Having received her training at Winchester Medical Center, she completed her clinicals under the direction of the highly respected, Dr. George L Sheppard. Felicia brings to the team over 30 years of experience in a variety of neurodiagnostic testing, with special interest in EEG, AEEG, Polysomnography, and CPAP setup. She considers it fortunate that she had the opportunity to participate in some of the first Sleep Studies done in Winchester. Felicia is passionate about providing patient focused care and considers it a priviledge to serve our customers and healthcare community. Outside of the office she enjoys every minute possible with family and friends.
